Digital Bank to be launched by next year: Finance Minister
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has announced the launch of Digital Bank to provide banking facilities to all levels of people in the country.
In his budget speech on Thursday, the finance minister said a digital bank would be set up by the next financial year to expand and accelerate efforts at financial inclusion.
He said that a committee of Bangladesh Bank is working on digital bank. The digital bank outline has been completed. I hope to launch a digital bank in the next financial year. Recently, Bangladesh Bank Governor Abdur Rauf Talukdar said that the central bank is working to launch a digital bank.
